Two new solar power projects could come to Pittsylvania County.

The second 25-year agreement would be with Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based Strata Solar for Ringgold Solar Project, which would be along Ringgold Road.

“Southern Virginia is going to be a hotbed for solar,” Whitten said. “You're going to see more projects like the ones you're looking at today.”
